Hospital Renovations

Used for a lot more than just heating and cooling, an HVAC system also controls the air quality and energy efficiency of a space. Air quality issues compromise patient safety and infection control in hospitals. Sharkey Mechanical recently upgraded a local hospital’s HVAC equipment to align with HVAC viral mitigation strategies- increased ventilation, improved filtration, and energy saving opportunities.

Chiller Upgrades

Sharkey Mechanical was contracted to assist a local government agency in upgrading their HVAC infrastructure. Their goal, like many of our clients, was to improve indoor air quality for their employees and citizens. By upgrading outdated equipment, we were able to bring in and ventilate more outdoor air which reduces the recirculation of air back to the space. The air is purified by utilizing UV lights and ionizers which allows a cleaner, more comfortable environment.

Gym Package Unit Installs

Sharkey Mechanical assisted a local school system in securing ESSER funding. This federal government program allows schools to invest in infrastructure with the goal to open and operate safely after the pandemic. We worked strategically with the school system and equipment manufacturers in order to reach the needs of as many schools as possible. Students can now enjoy the comfort of an air conditioned gym with improved air quality.
